China's GDP comes at the high end of expectations

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - China's Gross Domestic Product (QoQ) for the third quarter came at +2.2% vs 1.9% expected and 1.7% last, while the annualized GDP for Q3 stood at 7.8% (leaked by China's Sec Journal) vs 7.8% expected and 7.5% prior.

In other data releases, China's Industrial Production (YoY) (Sep) came at 10.2% vs 10.1% expected and 10.4% last, China's Retail Sales (YoY) (Sep) saw 13.3% vs 13.5% expected and 13.4% last, while China's Urban investment (YTD) (YoY) (Sep) was 20.2% vs 20.3% expected and 20.3% prior.
