Commitments of traders: AUD net shorts increase – DB

FXStreet (Barcelona) - The Deutsche Bank Research Team shares the commitments of traders report for the week ending 24th February, 2015.

“Interest Rates: Aggregate speculative net positions decreased by $7.1 billion to -$22.0 billion in ten-year cash equivalents."

“Speculators added 43K contracts in TY net shorts, but reduced FV net shorts by 12K contracts over the week."

“FX: Speculators were less bearish in EUR and GBP futures, as they bought 8K and 7K contracts, respectively. However, specs increased AUD net shorts by 9K contracts, and sold over 3K contracts in CAD futures."

“Commodities: Specs net longs in oil and gold futures decline by 30K and 6K contracts, respectively. However, specs in copper net shorts decreased by 8K contracts over the week."

“Equities: Speculators reduced S&P 500 e-mini net longs by 69K contracts. They also pared 2k contracts in Nikkei net longs. However, specs added over 4K contracts in Nasdaq mini net longs."
